Videos can transport you anywhere, instantly, without you having to leave your seat. It could be a virtual tour of a hotel before reserving your room. A look in the kitchen of your favourite restaurant before booking a table. Or behind the scenes in a workshop before you buy a hand-crafted item from a unique seller. Video can take you to all these places through that convenient little screen we all carry in our pockets.
2020 was a weird year! We all worked from home, only getting our top half dressed. The pubs were shut on New Years Eve! And even our Grandmas learned how to shop online.
In a year where people couldn’t just nip to the shops, we all turned to online retail to deliver the goods. We’re betting this increased reliance on online shopping continues throughout 2021. People who were previously resistant to online shopping have turned to it out of necessity and now they’ve experienced the convenience of it, we’re betting they keep on spending online.
